Edgar Rai

Edgar Rai, Jahrgang 1967, kommt eigentlich aus einer hessischen Kleinstadt. Nachdem sein Studium der Anglistik und Musikwissenschaften ihn nach Berlin führte, ließ die Großstadt ihn nicht mehr los. Seit 2001 ist er Schriftsteller. Außerdem: Von 2003 bis 2008 Dozent für kreatives Schreiben an der FU Berlin. Seine Nebenbeschäftigungen waren genauso vielschichtig wie seine Romanfiguren: Chorleiter, Basketballtrainer, Redakteur, Handwerker. Seit 2012 ist er Mitinhaber der Buchhandlung Uslar & Rai in Berlin.
